Description: 1st millennium BC. A bronze sceptre group comprising: finial with tubular bulb with ribbed collar, round-section shank and discoid foot; bifacial Master of Animals formed as two lions on hindlegs flanking a facing figure. Cf. Moorey, P.R.S. Ancient Bronzes From Luristan, London, 1974, plate X(b) and plate XI(a"). 366 grams total, 10.5-12.5cm (4 - 5"). From a London, Edgware collection; formed in the 1990s. [2]
