Description: Artist: WEILUC (Lucien-Henri Weil, 1873-1947) Size: 8 1/2 x 12 in./21.6 x 30.4 cm As a popular cartoonist, Weiluc did endless renderings of celebrities. Here, he gives us a rather unimpressed Wilbur Wright, ignoring the many laurels around his feet in favor of attentively observing the uncharted horizon. Below, the artist has dedicated this drawing to Commandant Renard, the head of the French Defense Aviation Department.

Dimensions: 8 1/2 x 12 in./21.6 x 30.4 cm

Artist or Maker: WEILUC (Lucien-Henri Weil, 1873-1947)
