Description: Silver-plated metal by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, ca. early 20th century, the twin-handled bowl chased with motifs of lotus or water lily blooms to each side, the chasing, handles, and upper edge executed using the organic "whiplash" curves of the Art Nouveau era; marked underneath with WMF's ostrich mark used 1903-1910, "B" for the company's silver-tone "Britannia metal" alloy, "as" for the piece's "antique silver" finish, and "I/O" denoting a standard thickness of silver plating. 2.75" H X 5.75" W over handles X 3.75" diameter. Some losses to finish.
