Description: Yellow and Red-Brown Baltic Amber Chess Set with Box, German, Circa 1920, figures feature Medieval royal couples and the bishops are in the form of sculpted busts whose facial features are visible. Ornamented board is carved with floral motifs and decorated with three amber portraits. King is 3.9cm and Pawn 2.1cm high Box is 16 x 16 x 5 cm Note that the board is missing a white square.
