About Us

Batemans is a family run Auctioneers and valuers in Stamford, Lincolnshire. We hold Fine Art, Antiques and Collectables Sales on the first Saturday of every month, at 10:30am.

Viewing is two days before each sale, on Thursday at 10am - 5pm and Friday 10am - 7pm, plus from 9am on the day of the sale.

Stamford is an historic market town, easily visited by road and rail networks. Approximately two hours from London by road, Stamford is situated on the A1 between Peterborough and Grantham.

Directions: At the A1 roundabout, follow signs for the town centre, past Burghley house and The George Hotel, go over the bridge and follow the road around into Red Lion Square. Take the road at the right hand corner and this will lead on to Broad Street. Batemans is on the right hand side, half way along Broad Street.

We are pleased to offer free valuations; please bring in items at any time during our office hours of 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. For larger items, we can arrange house visits for valuation, please call the office.
