Description: This poster encourages people to show they had supported the World War I Liberty Loan bonds drive. The Government issued bonds at 3.5% to 4.25%. Buying them symbolized patriotic duty. Interest up to $30,000 was tax exempt. An aggressive campaign to sell the bonds was created by Treasury Secretary McAdoo. Sales posters, like this were issued to encourage people to buy the bonds. Framed and under glass.
