Description: French Impressionist Jules Rene Herve was a shining example of a pure artist as he enjoyed working alone, painting subjects of his own choice, and caring not about artistic trends or pressures. His talent would soon become evident though, and in 1914, he was awarded the Medaille d'Argent at the Salon des Artistes Francais, where he exhibited regularly. This little jewel by Herve is housed in a custom frame measuring 14.75 x 16.75 inches.
