Félix Buhot’s prints are known for their originality in composition and technique. By combining multiple processes of traditional printmaking with experimentation in inking and papers, Buhot produced highly unique, atmospheric works. His introduction of symphonic margins, small vignettes layered around a larger scene, further solidified the artist’s reputation as one of the most innovative printmakers of the late 19th century.
