Description: English, circa 1870-1910. A fine aesthetic movement bamboo and lacquered etagere or dressing cabinet having an openwork pediment above a beveled glass door flanked by a small shelf to each side, the lower section with rectangular top over a pair of frieze drawers and two small paneled doors centering an open niche above and rectangular undershelf over a paneled door centered by a arched open shelf to either side. The whole decorated with floral embossed panels on red ground and lacquered panels of birds and foliage. Approximate height 70", width 28.25", depth 14.25".
