Description: During the interwar period, Roger Broders was the finest designer of French travel posters. Many of his best were for the French railroad, the Paris-Lyon-Mediterranee (PlM). Known for his posters of the fashionable resorts of the Cote D'Azur, Broders is also well known for his Deco stylized images of the winter resorts, mountains, and skiers that frequented them in the French Alps. Here the artist gives us his signature breathtaking view from high atop the city of Grenoble...famous for hosting the 1968 Winter Olympics. The poster is advertising the motor coach services of the PLM. This is an original vintage poster, printed c. 1922
