Description: Silkscreen print by Josef Albers (1888 - 1976 ) from Articulation / Formulation published by Harry N. Abrams and printed by Ives-Sillman in 1972. Josef Albers became a faculty member of the Bauhaus in Germany in the early 1920s. Following the shut down of Bauhaus by the Nazis in the 1930s, Albers emigrated to the United States. He joined the art and design faculty of Black Mountain College and later became director of the Yale School of Design.
