Description: During the interwar period, Roger Broders was the finest designer of French travel posters. Many of his best were for the French Railroad, the Paris-Lyon-Mediterranee (PlM). His Art Deco influenced stylization of the fashionable towns and resorts, with their colorful waterfronts, palm trees, bright sand, and chic bathers are the proprietary trademarks of Roger Broders work. He is considered the posterist-laureate of the Cote d' Azur. One of Broders early posters, Menton is located on the easternmost edge of the French Riviera along the Italian border. Menton became popular at the turn of the 19th century for having the mildest climate on the coast. this is an original vintage poster, printed in 1923
