Mixtec Copper Necklace of Claws and Blossoms(8 views)
The necklace is composed cast copper claw beads, sacred ceiba blossoms from the silk cotton tree and a small feline head. The casting was done with the lost-wax technique, as there is evidence of an interior copper core. This is a rare and lovely example of Mixtec copper work.
