Note: This is the second issue of the Riverside Edition; the first, from 1883, was in 12 volumes (this second issue is complete in 13 volumes). Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, (1890-91). Octavo, contemporary full dark-blue polished calf by Zaehnsdorf, gilt-decorated spines with leather labels, gilt-ruled boards, gilt dentelles, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Almost imperceptible wear to headband of volume 3; very minor general wear to bindings. A stunning set in outstanding condition.
