Small 8vo, original green vellum wallet binding with expanding cover pockets and with blind-stamped municipal arms of Amsterdam dated 1736 on covers; cloth folding case. Amsterdam: Gerrit Bos, [1736] E400-600 With the contemporary signature of Pieter Calkoen, and his ? annotations on the interleaved blanks and on several slips of paper laid in front cover pocket, mostly concerning deliveries of miscellaneous raw materials. Bound before the almanac is a 4-leaf membership list of the brokers' guild of Amsterdam, including an engraving of the Amsterdam stock exchange, a separate list of Jewish members, and a New Year's greeting from the guild.
