Description: A FRENCH PRESSED GLASS DECANTER WITH STERLING SILVER OVERLAY, Mid-20th Century The heavy clear glass bottle-shaped decanter divided internally into four sections with four removable silver and cork stoppers; the glass body entirely covered with a multi-layered silver overlay of chrysanthemums, cherry blossom branches, and bamboo leaves; mounted with a ring foot and two silver rings around the neck; the silver cap and foot ring stamped STERLING 950 (probably Japanese), the bottle bottom impressed with MADE IN FRANCE. 12 1/4 x 5 x 5 inches (31.1 x 12.7 x 12.7 cm).
