Description: Music Boxes- 2 (Two) Swiss: 8-tune large cylinder player with inlaid and grained wood case, early 20th century; and modern Reuge small inlaid wood box playing Lara's Theme.

Condition Report: Both boxes operate okay and sound very nice, but may benefit from lubrication. The large heavy box has some abrasions which would diminish with a good polishing, and it retains its multicolor printed song list inside the hinged lid. The little one looks nearly new, also with its original colorful descriptive print glued inside and instructions beside the bottom winder. Widths are 21" and 7".

The cylinder measures sixteen inches and has been cleaned and serviced. The tip on the first tooth on the second comb has been repaired and the third tooth on the end of comb three has its tip broken off. A beautiful sounding box. Original tune card. Box length 26 1/2".

Description: Austro-Hungarian, Kralik Sam, Buda - Pestini, rare perpetual calendar and grand sonnerie carriage clock, with "6-rubis cilindre" platform escapement, indications in German, c1850

Condition Report: overall very good original condition. Strikes the hours and quarters on two coiled gongs. The day, date and month are carried on revolving annular rings above the time movement. There is some loss to the paint on the date rings. The porcelain dial has a blue cast to it, which seems original, and is signed for the maker. The front mask has a hand painted tole pattern around the calendar openings. Everything appears original as made mid 19th century. A sister to this clock can be viewed in "A Century of Fine Carriage Clocks". by Fanelli & Terwilliger (1987), page 208-209. Our clock bears the makers name and city engraved on the rear cover to the calendar. Beveled glass is all good. Ht 9 1/4" or 23.5cm

Description: Waterbury Watch Co., Waterbury, Conn., rare mini skeletonized dial, carriage time piece, with rotary regulator (tourbillion), 8 day, c1885.

Condition Report: The original paper dial is just slightly faded, and the clock is still in overall excellent original condition with old patina on the brass, although the front door knob is absent. This is one of the rarest American carriage clocks, and is shown in Bulletin 287, page 757. There is also an exhaustive description on pages 356-368 in the Allix & Bonnert classic carriage clock reference book. We sold one in 2007 for a high bid of $1600. and one was sold by Antiquorum, on Nov 29, 2001, for a total price of $2760. It has a circular brass duplex escapement, and the escapement assembly rotates around the central axis, visible through the 6 spokes in the central area of the dial. Patented May 21, 1878, and so stamped below the logo on the dial mask. Even better, the original (worn) leather travel case is included. Running. Ht 4 3/4"

Condition Report: Rosewood veneered case in very fine condition in an old finish. There is a small chip on the back right corner and a small repair on the back upper left corner. Silvered dial is very clean. Fusee movement has been cleaned and serviced. Hands are original. The back door may have been reveneered in the past as it does not quite match the rest of the case, but overall a very attractive time piece. Ht 7 1/4".

The original label is good and original hands intact; period tablet is old and perhaps from another clock, however looks fine. The original dial is good with minor losses, and the Terry Patent portion is a bit worn and light; note calendar wheel has been re-blacked. Information on this and other models with the Terry improved calendar can be found in Tran Duy Ly's book titled "CALENDAR CLOCKS" (1992), PAGES 20-21. Ht 26"
