Please note all lots are prefixed with the letter "P".
The following books and periodicals held at Worcester Public Library are offered for sale without reserve by sealed bid only. All bids to be received in writing by midnight on Thursday 16th June - Please quote the P lot numbers below. No buyer's premium will be charged and usual bidding increments do not apply. The winning bid will be the highest bid at the price bid. E.g. a bid of £301 will win the lot for £301 if there are no other bids and/or all other bids are £300 or less. Bids will be opened on Friday 17th June 2011 and invoices sent out in the usual way. Viewing can be arranged at Worcester Public Library through the auction office. A small number of images are available for each lot. All lots must be assumed to have usual library marks unless otherwise indicated and all lots are sold strictly not subject to return. Clearing of the lots can be arranged through the auction rooms in consultation with the Library and should be made before the end of June and subject to full payment prior to collection. Short-term extended storage may be possibe at Worcester Public Library by prior arrangement. Boxing and delivery/shipping may be possible through the auction rooms and other shippers - please ask us for a quote. Many of these lots are very large and heavy so please satisfy all questions about condition and shipping before submitting a bid. Estimates have only been provided where higher levels of interest are anticipated. A PDF of the list with selected images will be available in May.
