Description: A lucite display (4½"x3½"x1") containing a small section of aluminized polymide film from an MLI blanket covering the exterior of the Hubble Space Telescope. This film section first was flown into space in 1990 on STS-31 and was returned to Earth after Hubble repairs aboard STS-103 in 1999, after having flown approximately 1.5 billion miles in space. This HST lucite is number 16 of only 75 produced. Excellent condition in its box.

Description: A pre-printed balloon postcard with photo of the balloon 'Niederschlesien', printed information on address side. The balloon was piloted by C.R. Mann and ascended on 7/12/1914, card was dropped from the balloon, found on 7/14/14, and mailed the same day in Guben, to Penig. Very fine and RARE usage.

Description: Tri-fold souvenir folder commemorating the first balloon crossings of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Contains a cover for each flight, postally canceled at departure and arrival cities, colorful cachets and signatures of balloonists. Double Eagle II flight flew from Presque Isle, Maine on Aug 12, 1978, landed at Miserey, France, Aug 17, #519 of 1000. Signed Maxie Anderson, Ben Abruzzo and Larry Newman. Includes 4cm x 3cm swatch of silver balloon material. Double Eagle V flight from Nagashima, Japan on November 9, 1981, landed at Covelo, California, on November 12, #492 of 1000. Signed by Ben Abruzzo, Larry Newman, Rocky Aoki and Ron Clark. Includes folder produced by Calhoun's Collectors Society. Very fine.
