Condition Report: This piece has light overall grime build up and light scuffing throughout. There are a few more noticeable but still minor scratches to the feet. This piece has restoration. The varnish appear to have been refinished. On the middle section of table top there are three cracks running off the edge to the middle of the table. These have been repaired with a new blond wood join below and there are pen tip thick strips of this wood visible on the table top about 4" long off the edge. On one of the leaves there is a similar crack to the middle of the leaf and about 7" of the crack has the wood filled gap is visible. There are several stable minor hair line cracks to the table top ranging from 6" - 12". The top surface of the table has two noticeable areas that appear to have been sanded down and have a new slightly different colored varnish - These spots are next to each other and the sizes are 6" diameter and 6" x 3". Condition Report: These pieces have a medium amount of grime build up and medium wear to the gilt. Both the mirror glass pains appear to not be original to the surround and have several dark spots in the glass (about .5" - 1" in diameter). Both these pieces have over a over twenty pen tip sized holes in the wood surface scattered though out. Both have restoration. Both of the necks of the birds have a significant seem through the middle horizontally that has been separated and repaired with new new gilt and filler. The neck has a noticeable seem and is not completely flush. First mirror: This piece has several areas light cracks in the joined sections (seems). There is a noticeable crack running down the middle seem. and a couple sections of the left area. There are about a dozen 1" thick and 2" - 5" sections where the gesso and gilt surfaced has chipped off revealing the wood below. There are a few smaller chips to the gilt scattered through out exposing the gesso. On the back there are a few wood support bars that have been added to delicate or cracking area, especial the bottom. On the right side, two of the leaf forms are missing about and inch of the tip. Second Mirror - This piece has over twenty 1" thick and 2" - 5" sections where the gesso and gilt surfaced has chipped off revealing the wood below. This piece has several areas light cracks in the joined sections (seems). On the back there are a few wood support bars that have been added to delicate or cracking area, especial the bottom. More detailed descriptions of cracking: There noticeable light cracks that are running down the middle seem of the molding. There is some more light cracking at the middle of the bottom edge where the mirror glass meets the frame. There is another noticeable crack in wood, where the wood and mirror meet on the right side. (This makes about six chips sections to the foliate) There is a .5" grazed surface chip to the tip of the bird's beak. The vine form on the lower right right side has a crack through that has been repaired with filler, and another noticeable seem crack through a leaf near the top of this left side. The molding section that the bird is standing has a more significant split into the wood separations the front and back about 4" deep - this split is visible from the side (raised shard). Condition Report: This piece has overall light grime build up that is more significant to the inside, especially to the lowest cabinet. The metal edging on the door is lightly bent on the left edge and on the upper left corner. There is light tarnish to all the metal and a few missing nails as well. On the body of the underneath the lower right corner is an approximately 2" diameter dark pigment scuff and slight chip to the veneer. about an inch around the key holes are some light warping and reglueing to the veneer. On the side edge of the door where the lock is mounted there is some filler and glue repair, this is approximately a 4" strip. there is some dark pigment residue around the lock on the edge as well. to the right of the lock on the body, there is an approximately 2" x 3" section of dark residue to the surface and .5" diameter chip to the veneer. The veneer around the door opening has noticeable light surface scuff concentrated to the left side and upper left corner. . the painted surface of this cabinets has a cracqualure that has been stabilized with a significant varnish layer. Under black light, there is significant overpainting on top of the yellowing varnish layer. This painting is most significant on the front panel figures, they are basically completely new paintings. On the painted surface below the varnish there is a medium amount of pen tip - .5" diameter chipping to the paint with pigment loss scattering the surface. This damage was stabilized by the varnish. There is additional damage and paint chipping that appears to have occurred post vanish repair. There are noticeable chips to the paint exposing the gesso below, the left panel has one 1" diameter section and a few minor pen tip chips; the middle panel has a .5" diameter chip and a couple pen tip sized chips; the right panel has more significant chips ranging in .25" thick line about 2" - 4" and a few 1.5" diameter chips scattered through out. The fabric on the inside has significant fading and a medium amount of yellowing there is noticeable tearing to the right and left edge of the back about 2" from the edge. There is a 6" diameter section of significant tearing on the left side of the inside back. There are a light amount of loose threads and scuffs scattering the rest of the fabric. The back edge of the cabinet has a few chips to the veneer, one 2" in diameter on the left, and a few .25" diameter chips to the right.
