Robson continues 'I really wish you all good luck for that and hope you do well. You will remember during "Italia 90" the longer it went, the better we all got, and I am sure it can all work again for you. He further refers to other football topics, 'I'm happy to see Arsenal doing so well and glad for Bruce Rioch', revealing 'You know I nearly came - and wanted to of course - but my President would just not let me leave in any way - and I've never walked out of anything. So here I still am. However, I'm happy here, and my life style is good, and my President is actually solid in all respects. I have a good time too here and a good team as well.' and also writes of his illness, also shared by his correspondent, 'My operation was a success and my prognosis is excellent. I think we have both done well John...I believe we have both been to hell and back. The lovely thing is that we returned John and life is good.' In concluding he states 'I wish you well John....good luck with Arsenal and England - any order for you - but England for me. My heart will always be there. We had great times didn't we?'
