She wears a 5 bejewelled leaves crown and her hair is worn in a high chignon atop with chintamani and braids of hair rest on her shoulders. She is adorned with a short and long jewelled necklace; armlets; and bracelets and also a robe with ornate floral patterned hems which is tied with a bow at her waist. There are celestial scarves or streamers scrolling around her arms and behind her head. There are 7 Chinese character "大清乾隆年敬造" (translated to mean "Made In The Reign Of Great Qing Emperor Qianlong") mark cast on the front of the lotus base. Further, there are inscribed 3 Chinese characters "莊嚴母" ("Zhuang Yan Mu" to mean "The Majestic Sacred Mother Bodhisattva") on the front side and below the lotus base and thereby identifying this statue as a "female" Bodhisattva. In addition, there are 4 Chinese characters "德行根本" ("De Xing Gen Ben" to mean "Virtuous Cultivation Is The Root To Buddhahood" ) inscribed on the back of the lotus base. The base cover is made of skin and it is unopened and complete with empowerment deposits. Extremely difficult to find Sino-Tibetan Buddha statue made of gold and come with inscriptions. Apart from its gold value, the main attractions of this statue is the very simple and elegant way in which it was cast and with the face of the Buddha exuding an everlasting sweet and calming smile.
