Description: Pine, original red painted finish, both labels intact, "Shaker Seeds, Mount Lebanon, N.Y.", "Shakers Genuine Vegetable & Flower Seeds", numbers of packets/papers are in ink script filled by the Shakers to "200 Total", wire snipe hinged lid, six-section interior intact, some tears to interior label, lid with age line, dovetailed box, symmetrically nailed base, (Note: rare seed box from an excellent collection), 3 1/4" h, 23 1/4" l, 11 1/2" d, (Stranahan collection).
