Ex-lib. copy The first part describes then interprets eighteen figures (not illustrated) according to their alchemical symbolism - colour, elements, etc. and includes instructions for reducing compound chemical substances, and other processes, such as separating solar and lunar mercury. It touches briefly on methods for extracting gold from base metals. The second part provides an interpretation of the "tablaux mistiques de l'antiquite", and gives further instructions in the science of alchemy.
