Auction Description:

Simpson Galleries is once again very proud to offer you this collection of fine art and antiques. These collections come from some of the finest homes and multi generational families in Houston. We are delighted to highlight a few exceptional items from our auction catalog. From the Estate of the late Josey Meyer, we offer some of the finest art collected over a lifetime. Among this collection are works by Guy Wiggins, Édouard Cortès, Marcel Dyf, Eugene Galien Laloue, Leon De Smet, Maximillian Luce and Wolf Kahn to name a few. The furniture department has uncovered items by Dasson, Krieger, Linke and many other great examples of fine craftsmanship by furniture makers from the 18th through the 20th Century. Our decorative arts department has outdone itself as well. Featuring items by Tiffany, Baccarat, and Lalique as well as many others of comparable quality and elegance. In addition to these noteworthy items, Simpson Galleries will be offering our usual blend of pre-Columbian pottery, crystal, china, porcelain, silver, Russian works, and rare books.
