There are some small seam separations on the under side of the head as well as a seam separation on the inside lower portion, with one area of noticeable loss. Additionally, there are a few separation fissures; one near the lower portion of the collar, one near the pin joint and one at the border of the granulation near the lower inside portion. The collar has been connected using lead solder at the rivet. The pin stem, joint and catch are all original and in good condition. The earrings are in very good condition except for the areas affected by the conversion to screw backs. The earrings have been converted with lead solder, which has altered the surrounding granulation and the original pads are still present . All wear is consistent with age and use.
