Description: Boulton's Trafalgar Medal 1805, white metal issue, complete with original metal shells. Medal almost extremely fine, some minor rusting to the shells. (1)

Description: [ Medals ] Naval General Service 1793-1840, one bar, Trafalgar ( George Martin). Toned very fine. (1) E700-900 George Martin served aboard HMS Victory as an Able Seaman. There are three further George Martins on the NGS medal roll, two entitled to the Syria clasp and one entitled to the St.Domingo clasp.

(1) E800-1000 Surgeon J.M.Madden, Assistant Surgeon 11.10.1811; Surgeon 5.10.1822; Half Pay List February 1825; Unfit for sea service 25.1.1839; Died 21.5.1861. Servedas Assistant Surgeon in HMS Hamadryad from Oct 1811-Jan 1814, also served in the Storeship HMS Malabar from Feb-April 1814. Went to HMS Impregnable from HMS Ister to assist in the treatment of casualties suffered at the bombardment of Algiers, by a joint British/Dutch force on 27.8.1816. Sold with detailed research on his service.
