Description: An Egyptian wood dish with handle in the form of a woman, Late New Kingdom, c. 1292 - 1075 BC, with nicely carved features and wearing a short wig, her arms out before her supporting a bowl containing a Nile perch. Description: A pair of wooden "Sons of Horus" and a panel depicting the god Anubis. The "Son of Horus", 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075 - 656 BC, both still coated in embalming resin and linen strips from the burial they were part of. The larger is in the form of the human-headed deity, Imsety, and the other the jackal-headed deity Duametef. Largest measures 4 3/4" (12.2 cm) in length. The square wood panel, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, perhaps from a shrine or similar, painted with an image of Anubis. 2 7/8" x 3" (7.3 x 7.6 cm) with dowel holes.
