Description: Wolfgang Wesener a.k.a."Wowe" (German, b. 1960) "NY Nightlife", a silver print mounted to aluminum, circa 1986, signed (verso) Limited Edition: 1/5. One of only five produced, depicting Linda Lust and Tom McCarey at one of the lower Manhattan clubs. The photographer, “Wowe”, worked for Detail magazine during this period and many of his nightlife photos appeared in this publication. The photo was taken in one of the major New York dance clubs frequented by celebrities during this period (1983-1987). These clubs included Area, Danceteria, The Saint and Limelight; 58”H x 41”L
