The fully covered stirrups have a wooden core surrounded by leather. Shield shaped plate on back of the saddle notes "11-1/2" Seat" on wooden saddle horse. MEASUREMENTS: 37" x 11". CONDITION: Leather is cracking and with some red rot. Wear consistent with use and age. Patina is excellent and saddle is probably late 19th or early 20th centuries.
