Condition Report: The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible, the lid has the maker's mark and lion passant only, full hallmarks to the neck of the body. A later amendment to the condition report - there are some small surface dints visible and a seam line visible to the short stem. The finial of the lid is slightly off centre, indicating a possible repair or it may just be as made.

Description: George III silver cruet stand, of bulbous oblong form with gadrooned border to the curved rim, engraved monogram to one side and the whole raised above four splayed bracket feet, hallmarked London 1813, maker's mark partly obscured but tentatively attributed to Charles Fox I, the main frame containing three glass bottles with stoppers, two glass casters with pierced silver lids and a further glass bottle with silver hinged lid, all hallmarked London 1813, and a condiment spoon, hallmarked Birmingham, probably 1825 (the central upright stem and handle is unmarked). Maximum height including handle measures 8 inches (20.3 cm).

Condition Report: The cruet stand displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. There is also some tarnishing to the silver. The main frame displays some small surface dints and nicks. There is a small area of creases in the metal above the monogram and some further similar areas around the body. A seam line is visible and there is a possible repair to one foot. Central handle is unmarked and is a likely replacement as the ring mark visible on the wooden base does not conform with the base of the handle. Hallmarks are quite worn but still legible, maker's mark is very distorted. A split in the metal on one of the silver lids. Some wear to hallmarks on the silver lids but all still legible. Glass displays minor rim and edge nicks and some larger chips to the rims of the bottles with stoppers.

Description: Victorian silver pair of oval open salts with blue glass liners, each with beaded serpentine rim above openwork sides pierced with stylised floral and foliate motifs around a central vacant oval panel, the whole raised above four claw feet, hallmarked Henry Manton, Birmingham 1863; together with a slightly later mustard pot, similar in design with engraved crest to hinged lid, hallmarked London 1892. Combined silver weight 5.44 ozt (169 grams). (3).

Condition Report: All three pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper scratches and nicks are visible, also some slight surface dints. There are also remnants of polish. Some slight rubbing but the hallmarks on the Victorian pair are mainly clear and legible. One of the glass liners is lot thicker than the other, therefore one is possibly original and the other a later replacement. Small nicks and chips to both and there is a large crack in the thicker liner. The hinges on the mustard pot lid are in working order, however the lid does not close properly, therefore leaving a slight gap. Hallmarks are quite rubbed and maker's mark is partly distorted. Impressed retailer's mark to underside. Minor nicks to glass liner.

The sauce boat displays a number of repairs to the lip, heavy solder repair to the feet, the feet have also been pushed into the body, crest very worn, the hallmarks are almost completely erased, Leopards head and passant part legible.

Condition Report: The mustard pot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Many deeper scratches are visible and numerous nicks and pitting marks in the metal, also some minor surface dints. The lid is slightly out of alignment with the base but the hinges are still in good working order. Interior was probably once gilded, but this has now faded. The full set of hallmarks on the main body are very rubbed and partly distorted, however the part hallmarks of maker's mark and lion passant struck to the inside of the lid, are much clearer.

Description: Late George III silver entree dish and cover, the shaped outline with gadroon border and shell and acanthus leaf motifs to each corner, the cover with conforming inset border and also with engraved floral and foliate decoration, the detachable handle with acanthus leaf, berries and other motifs (some patched in areas to the cover, which are clearly visible to the interior). Hallmarked Joseph Craddock & William Ker Reid, London 1817. Maximum length of base dish measures 12 inches (30.5 cm), weight 67.55 ozt (2101 grams).

Condition Report: The entree dish displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are numerous deeper scratches, nicks and contact marks visible to both cover and base. The cover has two large areas of very deep scratches and marks to the interior. There are two large patched in areas on opposing sides, clearly visible to the interior and exterior, where seam lines, creases in the metal and solder are all visible. These patched in areas are now surrounded by engraved foliate decoration. Some rubbing to hallmarks and partial distortion to maker's marks, but mainly still legible. Part hallmarks to detachable handle.

Heavier tarnishing and also some greenish patches are visible to some areas, especially rims, and all the pieces would benefit from a clean and polish. There are some deeper scratches and various minor surface nicks. The glass liners of the two open salts appear jammed in place. Description: Edwardian silver pair of bud vases, each of plain slightly tapering form with a wide everted rim pierced with stylised motifs, raised above a spreading circular base. Hallmarked Birmingham 1901, maker's mark 'C H'. Approximate height measures 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), weight 7.75 ozt (240.9 grams).

Condition Report: Both vases display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Deeper scratches and minor nicks/dints visible to some areas. The pierced rims on both display some knocks and dints and are therefore a little misshapen. Seam lines visible to main body. On both, the bottom of the vase is pushed into the base slightly, this is more apparent on one of them creating creases in the metal. On this same vase, the base rim is knocked and dinted so that it now wobbles when standing. Some slight rubbing and wear but the hallmarks are still legible.
