Made as a field decoy, the construction is very unusual, featuring tightly sewn denim fabric from the Oskosh Company of Wisconsin stretched over a wood frame and tacked in to place and then stuffed with straw; the head is of finely carved pine and designe

Condition Report: Excellent original paint shows little wear and a superb patinated surface; some slight deterioration to the fabric at the extreme lower breast on one side; a circular patch roughly the size of a silver dollar on the back; overall very good structurally.
