Description: An Assembled Set of Four George II Silver Sauce Boats, Henry Hayens, London, 1750-1756, each side centered with a scene of a goat in a landscape, together with four associated sauce ladles, each with shell decoration, three examples by Adey Bellamy Savory and one by George Williams Adams; approximate total weight 24.71 ozt. Width of first 5 7/8 inches.

Condition Report: Each in overall good, stable condition. Two sauce boats engraved with a lion crest under a coronet. One having a lead repair to interior towards the front where the engraved crest is located on the other side. With other possible repairs to spout. Gilt example with wear to gilding at high spots. Another with gilt washed interior, with possible removed engraving. Last example with patch to front below spout. Each with varying degrees of wear but fairly crisp decoration throughout. Ladles each appear to be in overall good condition with light surface scratches and having an engraved crest of a standing stag. Additional images available upon request.

Description: An Irish Silver Sauce Boat, Richard Tudor, Dublin, circa 1760, of helmet form with an applied scrolling handle and three lion mask paw feet, engraved with a mythical beast crest; approximate weight 9.76 ozt. Width 8 3/8 inches.

Condition Report: In overall good condition without any major dents or losses. The handle showing some possible signs of resoldering to body. The interior showing impressions in areas where lion mask legs are applied. Engraved crest light to moderately worn. Additional images available upon request.

Description: A George III Mahogany Knife Box, circa 1770, of rectangular form, the front with concave corners and having a sloped lid, the interior with inlaid star decoration, containing two sets of 12 English silver forks and knives, and a master carving fork and knife, each with a pistol handle having a shell terminal, maker's marks rubbed. Height of box 15 inches.

Condition Report: Marks very worn. Tines and knife blades likely replaced, blades stainless. Clean joints. Wood box with age cracks and splits. Accompanied by paperwork from Marshall Field and Company. Please request additional photos.
