Description: A 19th century suite of micro mosaic set jewellery comprising a bracelet, a pendant, a pair of pendant earrings, a pair of circular earclips and two graduated brooches, each set with mirco mosaic panels, depicting assorted classical architecture, against a black ground

Condition Report: Each item a little tired overall. Gilt metal mounts mostly worn to edges. Bracelet: approximately 17.5cm long. Composed of six oval panels, one slightly larger than the rest. The panels are in fairly good condition although most have just a couple of very tiny nibbles to the edge of the black ground. The conjoining links are flimsy and at least two have been replaced. Clasp fastens securely. Pendant: mounts condition as above. Also with a couple of small damaged areas to the edge of the black ground. Oval brooch: mounts as above. Composed of slightly larger tesserae than the bracelet and brooch. Also with just a couple of very tiny signs of wear to the faceted edge of the black ground. Circular brooch: condition as oval brooch, but ocmposed of finer tesserae. Pendant earrings: condition of mounts as above. Please note drops are detacheable. Upper black enamelled circular panels and screw turned fittings, stamped SILVER are later. Each oval panel with just a few small signs of wear to the edge of the black ground.
