WW Marston Double Action Bar Hammer Percussion Pistol

Lot 951: WW Marston Double Action Bar Hammer Percussion Pistol

Estimated Price: Log in or create account to view price data

Description: serial #153, 36 Caliber Percussion, 3" part round-part octagon barrel with a very good but lightly oxidized bore. The metal surfaces are a pewter gray mixing with a light brown patina and there a few light handling marks as well. There appears to be a date of 1854 along the top of the barrel. The broad scroll engraving is still visible on the right side, but very faded on the left. The slender bag style walnut grips and have a few minor dings and possibly a light added finish. The pistol still functions mechanically and is a very good to near excellent example overall. (45592-9) {ANTIQUE}
