Rea, with squat bulbous body and moulded mask pattern handles, moulded neck and footrim, on square base with re- entrant corners, the body enamelled in colours with swans flying to the right within bulrushes, and gilt cow parsley, on matt turquoise ground, within moulded burnished gilt borders, 10.75ins high (mauve printed mark to base and shape No. 1572 - date code for 1907 - finial restored and gilding slightly rubbed) Illustrated E2000-2500 Note : Following Charley Baldwyn's departure from Worcester in 1908 or 1909, the 'Flying Swan' pattern was passed to the artist George Johnson.
