Description: Estimate: $750 - 1100 Manufactured in 1973. The top of the replacement barrel has the one line address with "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on right side. Frame has the three line, three patent dates with the Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on frame and left side of the grip straps under the grip with matching assembly number "436" on right rear of the frame and loading gate. Fitted with checkered Rampant Colt/American eagle relief grips numbered to the gun (640). BBL: 7 1/2 inch round Stock: Gauge: 45 LC Finish: blue/casehardened Grips: hard rubber Serial Number: 66640SA Condition: Partially refinished, the barrel which retains 99% blue finish with some mild muzzle wear and a small amount of very minor pitting under the finish. The remaining blue parts show 90% original blue finish with some thinning on the grip straps, a drag line and some cycling scratches on the cylinder. The frame retains 90% of the bright original case colors. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.

Flourishes of engraving on the sides of the muzzle, front sight, hammer and butt strap with the Colt logo and dome pictured on the top of the back strap. With a memorandum from Joe Canali stating these were the only two manufactured and never went into production. Fitted with smooth walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. With a blue Colt Custom Shop Box shared by both revolvers with "COLT COWBOY LASER ENGRAVED 1/BLUE 1/NICKLE" marked label, white box and a small sign marked "PROTOTYPES". BBL: 5 1/2 inch round Stock: Gauge: 45 Long Colt Finish: blue/casehardened Grips: walnut Serial Number: TF02469 Condition: Near new with a slight drag line on the cylinder and only a few light handling marks overall. The revolver is a reproduction of a revolver gifted to Interpol in 1968 by David M. "Carbine" Williams that was originally engraved by R.J. Kornbrath, one of America's greatest gun engravers and was custom made to william's specifications. Williams was a former chain gang convict, (imprisoned for his involvement in "moonshining"), and held more than 60 patents for firearms, one being the legendary M-1 Carbine. The revolver has standard markings and features. Complete in a genuine leather "book" case with gold embossed Interpol logo on the cover and purple fitted lining with a satin covered inner lid. Also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity stating this is number 19 of 154. The limit of 154 was for the number of Interpol member countries there were when the project was announced.
