Condition Report: Overall fair condition, there are light surface scratches to some. One plaque is yellow and depicts a lady in a red dress, the paint to the back of has chipped off in a number of places particularly to one side, making it transparent in these places rather than yellow. There are chips are chips to the paint on the corners of the wooden plaque. The corners and edges of the cardboard plaque are bent in places causing smudging and slight discolouration to the painting in these areas. The Lock Lane mother of pearl scene and the cardboard plaque are signed. Description: An early 20th century retractable combination pen and pencil, the foliate engraved cylindrical body with scrolling push pieces and columnar foil-backed gem terminal. Length 11.4cms. Total weight 15.4gms.

Condition Report: The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The pencil has been repaired with a plain band and has small splits which follow the engraving. There are some significant shallow dents to the body. The purple foil-backed colourless gem has significant surface abrasion and has lost most of the foil colour. Terminal possibly plated, with wear to the high points. Unhallmarked.
