Description: 12AO-3 AMMO Pack of skin cartridges, 6-count, marked "Johnson & Dow's, .46-100 cal., with percussion caps, for Colt Army revolvers, cal. .44-100, patented October 1st, January 7th and June 24th, 1862, Address Johnston & Dow, 170 Broadway, New York". The package in very good+ to near fine condition; unopened, shows some minor folding, normal aging and would go nicely with an excellent cased set. Not quite mint, but a strong 9 on 1 to 10 scale.

Description: 12AO-5 AMMO Rare matchbox-type skin cartridges by R. Bartholow's , marked for Colt's Pocket Pistol, patented May 21st, 1861. The label is very good to near fine, the box very good+ with some slight staining. The lead bullets are retained but the powder removed long ago. Would go nicely in a Colt Pocket Model cased set, and these are seldom encountered.
