Description: Estimate: $1600 - 2500 A) Manufactured in the mid 1800's, high bead front sight and fixed notch rear sight on the hammer with the two line Lefaucheux patent marking on the left side and the ejector rod on the right. Unfluted cylinder with proof mark over "LF" next to the serial number on bottom right side of frame. Checkered hammer spur and finger rest trigger guard. Grips are smooth walnut with metal buttcap and sling ring. BBL: 6 1/4 inch part octagon Stock: Gauge: 11 PF Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 37190 Condition: Good overall, the frame retains some silver dollar case colors while the balance a smooth gray patina. Grips are good with some scratches and pressure dents mainly on the left grip. The action is crisp. - B) Fixed sights, marked "CHAMELOT/INON & BTEE/DELVIGNE" on the left barrel flat. Serial number on bottom barrel flat underneath ejector rod mechanism. Engraved pattern on upper breech side of barrel, non-fluted cylinder, receiver, trigger guard and butt cap. Loading lever on the left side and bayonet lug on the right side barrel flat. Grips are two-piece checkered walnut with a lanyard ring on butt cap. BBL: 5 1/2 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 11 PF Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 989 Condition: Fine as period refinished with 40% blue finish remaining with the balance a mixture of smooth brown and gray patina. Description: Estimate: $1200 - 1700 A) In operation from 1885 to 1890, George Kynoch leased the arms factory of William Tranter following the latter's retirement, producing a revolver with Henry Schlund that began with Tranter's dual trigger design before evolving to a different pattern. Blade and notch sights, with "KYNOCH GUN FACTORY ASTON" on top of the barrel and "PATENT MODEL" on the top strap. Checkered upper trigger and smooth lower trigger, with checkered grips and swiveling lanyard ring. BBL: 6 inch solid rib Stock: Gauge: 455 Finish: blue Grips: hardwood Serial Number: 139 Condition: Very good, with 30% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, mild rust concentrated on the grip cap, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. Grips are good, with moderate wear, mild dents and scratches. Mechanically functions, but is loose and needs work. - B) Blade and notch sights, with a single wide breechblock for both barrels, a pair of checkered hammers, and a single trigger with a sliding block to fire the barrels sequentially. Marked "BREVET/REMINGTON" on the left, "E.M.&L. NAGANT/LIEGE" in a circle and "BREVET/NAGANT" on the right, with a checkered grip and swiveling lanyard ring. BBL: 5 1/2 inch round Stock: Gauge: 9 mm Finish: blue Grips: hardwood Serial Number: 178 Condition: Very good, with 30% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray patina, brown spotting, bright edges and scattered handling marks. Description: Estimate: $4750 - 6500 This excellent cased example of a Webley "WG" Target Model Double Action revolver features adjustable target front and rear sights. The top strap is stamped "WG TARGET MODEL" on the left side and the lower left side of the frame is marked "WEBLEY/PATENTS" with the Winged Bullet trademark. The caliber "450/455" and "ENGLAND" export markings are stamped on the left side of the barrel lug. British "crown/V", "crown/CP" and "NP" proof and inspection marks are stamped on the right barrel lug with "crown/V" and "crown/CP" inspection marks stamped on each cylinder chamber at the rear. A double arrow "Sold Out Service" mark is stamped on the left side of the barrel lug and a British Government "Broad Arrow" property mark is stamped on the left side of the top strap. The full serial number is on the right side of the frame with the partial serial number "181" stamped on the bottom of the barrel lug and "81" stamped on the bottom of the barrel latch. The revolver has a high polish commercial blue finish with bright trigger, hammer, cylinder latch and finely checkered two piece grips. The oak British style case has a round brass escutcheon, brass reinforcing screws, blue felt lining and has six compartments including a twenty-round cartridge block. A brass cleaning rod is included in the case. BBL: 6 inch solid rib Stock: Gauge: 455 Finish: blue Grips: walnut checkered Serial Number: 21181 Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 90% bright original high polish blue finish showing scattered light handling wear and scattered surface oxidation. The grips are good with moderate handling wear. All markings are crisp. The actions functions perfectly. The case is very fine with exterior showing moderate handling and storage wear. This is an excellent example of a Webley "WG" Target Model Double Action revolver with correct case.

Fitted with the distinctive long double action trigger, which cocks the hammer and disengages the drop safety, and a finely checkered grip. In a green felt lined hardwood case with an unmarked inscription disc on the lid, Eley Brothers cap tin, Tranter "Lubricating Bullet" tin, Dixon & Sons powder flask, "L" shaped screwdriver/nipple wrench, single-cavity bullet mold, oiler and an extractor screw. BBL: 4 3/8 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 40 Finish: blue/casehardened Grips: walnut Serial Number: 13512 Condition: Excellent, with 90% of the bright original high polish blue finish overall, showing bright wear along the high edges and a mixed gray and brown patina on the triggerguard. Minor spotting is present, concentrated on the trigger, hammer and loading lever. 80% of the case colors are visible on the cylinder, with some silvering present. Grips are excellent, with sharp checkering. Case is fine, with mild cracks and scuffs on the exterior, and some staining and material loss on the interior. Mechanically excellent.

Description: Estimate: $2500 - 3750 The top strap is marked "HUGHES'S IMPROVED/SELF EXTRACTING/REVOLVER No. 8017". The frame, barrel lug, trigger guard, and grip straps feature scroll engraving with a simple band around the muzzle and forward edge of the cylinder. There are British proofs present on the cylinder and bottom barrel flat as well as an "R.H." stamped on the left side of the frame and bottom barrel flat. The cylinder is marked "380", "6200" on the left side of the barrel lug and the butt is stamped "W68". Complete with a wooden partitioned case with a brass disk inset in the lid and lined with blue felt. There is a Robert Hughes Universal Fire Arms Works label on the inside of the lid. In the case is an oiler, brass cleaning rod with ivory handle and a 25 round bullet block. BBL: 5 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 380 CF Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 6200 Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 40% original blue finish (mostly on the barrel and lug) with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance. The grips are very fine with a few very minor bruises in the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The case is also fine with a slightly warped lid, some separation at the joints, a number of minor handling marks, and the lining showing some wear.

RYSER/SATTLER/LEIBEFELD/44", a tin of gun grease and two ammunition pouches with one marked "E. RUTTIMANN/??issraumen18" and the other marked "HANS MOGER/30/GUMLIGEN". BBL: 4 1/2 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 7.5mm Finish: blue Grips: plastic Serial Number: 16343 Condition: Very fine, 85% plus original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear with a drag line on the cylinder. There is some minor scattered freckling. The grips are good with a crack on the bottom of the left side and a few minor marks. The leather accessories are all good with aged wear.

With a brown leather cartridge pouch with illegible ink stamp inside the flap. BBL: 7 1/4 inch round Stock: Gauge: 11.25 mm Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 28429 Condition: Very good, 60% thinning arsenal refurbished blue finish with some high edge wear, patches of light surface oxidation and a few small spots of minor pitting. Mechanically excellent. - B) The top strap is stamped "GAP No *1007*" and "EJERCITO MEXICANO" is stamped on the top strap, frame and cylinder. Barrel is numbered to the gun. The revolver has an opening lever on each side of the hammer. There are a number of gilt copper and silver wire inlays on the sides of the frame, cylinder and top of the barrel. Fitted with a set of hard rubber grips with a tropical jungle cat hunting scene. With a green lanyard. BBL: 9 3/4 inch round Stock: Gauge: 11.25 mm Finish: blue Grips: hard rubber Serial Number: NSN Condition: Good, traces of the original blue finish remain with a smooth gray patina on the balance. Has a 1892-1918 Vienna black powder proof stamped on both sides of barrel lug and front of cylinder. Has an apple with an arrow through it over "S.MARKE". Fitted with checkered walnut grips. BBL: 9 inch round Stock: Gauge: 11.25 mm Finish: nickel Grips: walnut Serial Number: 149751 Condition: Very fine with 95% original nickel finish with a few areas of surface oxidation and small patches of pitting. The grips are very good with some smoothed checkering and some dings. Mechanically needs work as the cylinder does not rotate.

Fitted with checkered hardwood grips. Differs from Model 1873 revolver in that it has a fluted cylinder and has a blue finish. With a brown leather clamshell holster with "FOX/FILM" carved on the back, "FOX STUDIO" stamped on the back and "FOX STUDIO" stamped inside the flap. BBL: 4 3/8 inch part octagon Stock: Gauge: 11 mm Finish: blue Grips: hardwood Serial Number: N7778 Condition: Excellent, 95% original blue finish with some high edge wear, some scratches and some light freckling. Traces of the original straw colors remain on the various parts. The grips are very fine with some scattered dings. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very good. - B) Manufactured in 1877 and issued to non-commissioned officers. They were left in the white and it has the standard markings and features with visible serial numbers matching. Fitted with checkered hardwood grips. With a brown leather clamshell holster. BBL: 4 1/2 inch part octagon Stock: Gauge: 11 mm Finish: bright Grips: hardwood Serial Number: G53686 Condition: Very good, the original bright finish remains with some small patches of discoloration and scattered scratches and dings. The left side of the barrel has an apple with an arrow through it over "S. MARKE" with "L. GASSER/PATENT/WIEN" on the left side of the barrel lug. Fitted with checkered walnut grips. BBL: 4 5/8 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 9 mm Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 122920 Condition: Fine, 60% of the dull armory style blue finish remains with muzzle and high edge wear with some areas cleaned. There is a gray patina on the grip straps and a yellow straw color on the barrel. The hammer and trigger retain 50% of the original niter blue. The grips have been revarnished and remain very fine. - B) The top strap is marked "K.K. Sicherheitswache/Revolver" translated from German to "K.K. Security guard". The left side of the frame is marked "S. MARKE" under an apple with an arrow through it and "L. GASSER/PATENT/WIEN". Fitted with checkered walnut grips. BBL: 3 1/4 inch irregular Stock: Gauge: 9 mm Finish: nickel Grips: walnut Serial Number: 109320 Condition: Excellent, 97% of the original nickel remains with half of the nitre blue on the various small parts. The grips are also excellent with minor marks.

Description: Estimate: $950 - 1600 A) This revolver is the civilian model 1868 (made in 12mm) designed by Charles F. Galand, a French gunsmith. These pistols have a unique trigger guard extraction system where the trigger guard acts as a lever to move the barrel and cylinder forward on the cylinder arbor pin and moving an extractor ring to remove cartridge cases from the cylinder. Fixed sights with checkered hammer and smooth trigger. Serial number is marked on the right side of the barrel underneath the "C.F.G." Galand proof. The number "4012" is marked under the charging lever. Other markings scattered on various parts. The grips are checkered walnut with lanyard ring on butt. BBL: 5 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 12 mm Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 4637 Condition: Good, revolver has a bright finish with some slight pitting in areas on the surface. Grips are good with handling marks and some minor wear on the checkering. The trigger has to be manually pushed forward to fire the gun in double action. Needs trigger return spring. - B) Fixed sights, this pistol has the same unique trigger guard extraction system where the trigger guard acts as a lever to move the barrel and cylinder forward on the cylinder arbor pin away from the extractor which is attached to the cylinder well just below the firing pin, this action removes the spent casings. Also, when the loading gate bar is lifted up the hammer goes back to free the cylinder for turning. "P.POLAIN" marked over "BREUFTE" with the serial number "387" underneath. The grips are two-piece checkered walnut with a metal diamond insert on the right grip, the lanyard ring is missing on butt. BBL: 4 3/4 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 9 mm Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 387 Condition: Refinished with half of the blue finish remaining on the barrel, receiver, trigger guard/extractor lever and cylinder, the remaining finish is a grayish patina. There are three filed plugs. Some edge and high area wear. The grips are good with some areas of wear on the checkering with a non-factory diamond shaped plaque inlaid in top right panel. The action is crisp.

Description: Estimate: $3500 - 6500 In many ways ahead of their time, the black powder era saw the development of several weapons that used compressed air in place of combustible powder to drive the ball, the most famous being the Austrian Girandoni repeater taken on the Lewis & Clark expedition. This example has no maker markings but writer believes it to be European in origin from the 1800s. The form of the stock and shape of the furniture lead up to that conclusion. It has a pin front sight with side protectors, and adjustable notch rear sight and a peep sight with a large disk mounted on the buttstock behind the barrel. The rifle used a detachable crank handle (not included) to cock the mainspring and the barrel tips up for loading with the barrel release located ahead of the trigger guard. Double set triggers and finger groove brass trigger guard. The full length stock has floral scroll carved patterns on the buttstock, an area of checkering on the forearm, a cheekpiece with a brass accent, horn forend cap and Swiss type buttplate. BBL: 27 1/4 inch octagon Stock: walnut Gauge: 32 Finish: blue Grips: Serial Number: NSN Condition: Refinished overall. The barrel retains most of the period applied dull blue finish. The relief carved stock is very good with repairs, a few minor cracks and some minor handling marks. The barrel does not fit properly to the stock and the buttplate is loose. The stock raised relief carvings are crisp.

The lock plate on this musket is script marked "Ketland/& Co" ahead of the hammer. This particular model, typically seen with a cast iron frame, forearm optional, is instead made from cast German silver with integral matching forearm, showing scroll engraving on the sides and top of the frame, sunburst pattern at the tip, simulated wedge escutcheons, and a ray pattern on the bolster. The hammer and lockplate are also scroll engraved. Fitted with a bronze tipped ramrod and checkered bag shaped grips. In a green felt lined hardwood case with a Goldmark/Winchester cap tin, loose cast balls, a powder measure, key and a nipple wrench. A plate on the lid is inscribed "1883/J.E.Taylor/Brooklyn". Mounted on a checkered walnut stock with shell patterns at the top having a semi-precious stone inlaid on the right side and a German silver buttcap with shell pattern trapdoor. BBL: 2 inch round Stock: walnut Gauge: 54 percussion Finish: blue/nickel Grips: Serial Number: 8 Condition: Good, the blue components have a smooth gray patina with some tool marks on the barrel. Most of the gold inlay remains. The repaired hammer and hammer spur are crudely done. The stock is good with some scattered minor marks and the stone is absent from the left side. The buttcap has a bright appearance with some minor dark patina. Mechanically needs work.
