Smooth forearm, with a concealed ejector assembly on the underside. Extra-fancy walnut buttstock, with a brass handrest on the wrist, raised and contoured right-handed cheekpiece, brass buttplate and raised scroll carving on the right side. The barrel is brightly polished, with traces of blue in the low areas of the cylinder flues and stops, with a dark, water-quenched casehardened finish to the receiver. Bright niter blue is present on the ejector lever and the internal components of the forearm. Stock is very good, with a thin crack on the left side of the forearm, scattered handling marks, and highly attractive grain. Mechanically very good. An attractive example of the gunsmith's art, all but guaranteed to turn heads as part of a display of contemporary or antique arms.
