Together with two turn of the century silver peppers of similar style, one missing blue glass liner, hallmarked Chester 1899 and 1902. Gross weighable silver 3.7 ozt (117 grams).

Condition Report: All the pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some surface dints and bumps to some areas, and also some deeper scratches and nicks. The hinged cover on the mustard pot is in working order, however there is a still a fairly large gap when it is closed. Hallmarks are mainly legible, however they are quite rubbed and distorted on one of the peppers.

Description: A pair of silver mounted and wood pepper mills, hallmarked London 1947; together with a Tiffany & Co pepper pot, marked 'sterling', a silver shot, a tea strainer and a small golfing figure. (6).

Condition Report: The items in the lot are in varied condition, however all display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The pepper mills are in fairly poor condition, there is damage to both the wood and silver. Hallmarks on one are very rubbed but much clearer on the other. The silver shot is in poor condition displaying numerous dints. The lid of the Tiffany pepper is very tarnished and some is greenish in colour. The golfer is also in fairly poor condition, it was clearly once gilded and this is now flaking off in many areas.

Description: A 1930's silver caster of plain slightly tapering form above a circular footed base, the pierced domed lid with octagonal sided finial, hallmarked Roberts & Dore, Birmingham 1938; together with a later example of baluster shape, with circular piercing and flame finial to lid, hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1961. Maximum heights including finials measure 6 5/8 inches (17 cm) and 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) respectively, combined weight 8.74 ozt (271.8 grams).

Condition Report: Both casters display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Deeper scratches and nicks are visible and both also display some small surface dints. There are some larger dints visible to the baluster caster, especially around the lower bulbous section. Both detachable lids are a tight fit, however they are struck with part hallmarks. The flange to the lid on the baluster caster is slightly misshapen. The main body of the larger caster appears slightly squashed into the base on one side so that it now leans very slightly. All hallmarks are clear and legible.

Condition Report: All pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There is some slight loss of detail to the engine turned decoration on one of the pairs of napkin rings. Hallmarks on this pair are clear and legible. The plain pair displays numerous surface dints and some of the dints are quite large. Hallmarks on this pair are quite rubbed and distorted in places. The silver mount on the photograph frame is heavily tarnished and is coming away from the wood in places. There are several dints and knocks around the edge and especially to the two bottom corners. Personal presentation inscription and date to top of frame. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
