Description: Three early twentieth century silver topped glass vanity jars, one of bulbous shape with plain silver lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1923, the other two panel sided jars with matching silver lids, hallmarked Birmingham 1913 or 1938. Height of tallest jar measures 4 inches (10 cm). (3).

Condition Report: All three bottles display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. There is some light tarnishing to the silver mounts and remnants of polish are visible. All three lids display several surface dints, some of which are quite large. There are also various deeper scratches and nicks visible. The hallmarks appear a little rubbed in places but are all still legible. There are various minor rim and edge chips and nicks to the glass jars. The tallest jar has a large moulding flaw visible on one side.

Description: Three early twentieth century silver mounted glass dressing table bottles, varying in size but each of faceted cylindrical form, with silver gilt and tortoiseshell removable lids. Silver hallmarked London 1913, 1915 and 1916, two with maker's mark for J Batson & Son (Henry John Batson & Albert Edward Batson). Tallest measures 6 3/4 inches (17 cm).

Condition Report: All three bottles display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. There are general minor edge and rim chips to the glass. The tortoiseshell lids do display some minor nicks and also some cracks, especially to one of the larger examples. Some tarnishing to the silver gilt mounts and the gilding is faded in places. One of the silver collars has a couple of dints around the rim. Some rubbing and distortion but hallmarks are mainly legible.

Condition Report: The lot displays heavy general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The plating has worn to the terminal, a number of holes and tears also visible to this part, with the socket also not sitting straight. Hole to the base for electrical wire looks a little crude. Felting to the underside worn. Wobbles a little on a flat surface. The lamp would require re-wiring and we can not guarantee the fixtures are complete.

All contained within a mahogany veneered case.

Condition Report: The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The mahogany veneered case is associated to all pieces and displays some loss to the mother of pearl shield. One of the tops to the smaller pair of glass bottles is heavily dented also the tortoise shell is cracked/damaged. The silver plating to the tray is worn and would require re-finishing. Further minor dints visible to some pieces. Small chips to glass. The hallmarks are a little worn in areas but generally legible.

Condition Report: The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A large internal fracture to the glass. Small minor chips also visible. The lid does not 'click' shut. The hallmarks are clear and legible.

Description: A white metal mounted mirror, circa 1900, of rectangular form, the mount florally embossed with vacant cartouche, bevel edged mirror and easel back, height measuring 11 inches (28 cm). Together with a smaller similar late Victorian silver mounted photograph frame, hallmarked Levi & Salaman Birmingham 1899 and a further small silver mounted photograph frame of plain form, hallmarked London 1900. S/D. (3).

Condition Report: The lot displays some significant wear and damage along with general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The frame mirror has dents, chips, holes and wear to the white metal mount, heavy deterioration to the easel back. The larger of the two photograph frames has replacement pins, missing glass and easel back. The smaller photograph frame has chips to the glass and the easel back would require attention.

Condition Report: The cigarette box appears in good overall condition displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.

Description: A 1960's silver mounted cigarette box of oblong form with engine turned decoration to the hinged lid with initialled cartouche, hallmarked Harman Brothers Birmingham 1964. Together with an early twentieth century silver purse, hallmarked Birmingham 1918 and an early twentieth century silver mounted Baker's Perm-Point propelling pencil. (3).

Condition Report: All three items in the lot display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible and all three pieces would benefit from a clean and polish. Some deeper scratches and nicks and various surface dints and bumps, especially to the purse. Hinged cover on cigarette box is in working order and hallmarks are a little rubbed but still legible. The hinges are also in working order on the purse but there is a small gap when it is closed. Some fading and deterioration to interior. Some rubbing and partial distortion to maker's marks but all still legible. The propelling action on the pencil appears in working order and hallmarks are legible.

Description: Edwardian silver mounted photograph frame, of shaped form with a reed and ribbon style border and decorated with pendant swag motifs, hallmarked W J Myatt & Co., Birmingham 1908, maximum height measures 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm); together with a further Edwardian silver photograph frame, rectangular in form with heavily embossed floral, foliate and scroll border, hallmarked Birmingham 1901, maximum height measures 10 inches (25.5 cm), and a modern silver rectangular frame, with a scrolling foliate border, hallmarked London 1985, height measures 7 1/2 inches (19cm). (3).

Condition Report: Frames are in varied condition, however all display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to some areas. Deeper scratches and nicks are visible to some areas, and also some small surface dints. Some loss of detail to decoration. Numerous holes in the embossed silver border of the 1901 frame and it is coming away from the frame. There is considerable damage to the easel backs on both Edwardian frames. The modern frame is in need of a polish and it is also lifting slightly in places, especially at the corners. The hallmarks are mainly clear and legible.

Description: A modern silver mounted small bedside clock, of rectangular form with beaded rim, the circular dial with roman numerals, hallmarked Kitney & Co., London 1993; together with an Edwardian silver topped glass dressing table bottle, a further silver topped bottle, a silver comb mount and a part ring tree (some a.f). (5).

Condition Report: Items are in varied condition, however all display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. There is extensive damage to the silver lid on the larger glass bottle. The ring tree is not complete as there is no dish stand. Hallmarks on the clock, comb mount and silver lid of the smaller bottle are a little rubbed but still legible.

Description: A 1920's silver mounted capstan inkwell with reeded borders, missing glass liner, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd Birmingham 1923, height measuring 2 inches (5 cm). Together with an early twentieth century silver mounted glass table vesta of spherical ribbed form and plain silver mount, hallmarked Birmingham 1910, height measuring 2 ¢ inches (6 cm). (2).

Condition Report: The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps. Significant damage, dents, twisting to the neck of the inkwell, lid also dented. Minor nibbles to the glass on the vesta. The hallmarks on the table vesta are significantly rubbed.
