Condition Report: The strainer displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper scratches and various minor nicks and pitting marks. The two struck marks to the underside are a little rubbed and are quite difficult to read.

The gold coloured plating is coming off in some areas, especially to parts of the fork prongs and knife blades. The knife blades are also quite badly scratched and marked. Some minor nicks and surface dints. Slight loss of detail to decoration in places. The rim on one of the lids is very slightly misshapen. The lids fit well on the main bodies. Struck marks are quite difficult to read. The glass liners differ slightly in shape and one is heavier and thicker. This liner has two fairly large chips around the rim.

Condition Report: The stoup displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible and it would benefit from a clean and polish. Some deeper scratches and various minor nicks and edge nicks/chips. One of the holes in the decoration appears slightly larger on one side, therefore there is some possible damage in this area as a small piece of metal may have broken off.

Some general surface dints and bumps. A couple of the feet on the open salts are pushed in slightly, creating an impression to the interior. The lids on the peppers have a bayonet style fitting. They do still fit together but the rims are a little misshapen. The mustard pot is also quite tarnished. The hinged lid is in working order but it is slightly out of alignment. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but are still legible. Rim chips to glass liner.

Condition Report: The lot is in fair overall condition with scratches and dents in keeping with general wear. There are areas of slightly heavier scratches and associated discolouration. There are some small splits and repairs, with more noticeable dents. There are traces of a gilt finish to the inside of the bowl. The crest is of a portcullis and arm, with F initial. Diameter of bowls 3 1/4 inches (8.3cm). Unhallmarked.

Description: Nineteenth century Danish silver spoon with tear drop bowl and spiral twist stem leading to a face mask finial, with Three Tower mark and date 1879, Assay Master mark likely to be Simon Groth; together with two twentieth century Danish silver spoons and one ladle, each with a decorative floral or foliate terminal and struck with the Three Tower mark and Assay Master mark for Jens Sigsgaard, dates for 1935, 1939 and 1941. Description: 1920's Danish silver pair of table spoons and a matching teaspoon, each with an all over hammered finish and a butterfly terminal, with Three Tower mark for 1920 and 1928 and Assay master mark for Christian F. Heise, the tablespoons also impressed 'R.Wilson'; together with six Danish dessert forks, with Three Tower marks for 1950, 1951 and 1955, two forks bearing Assay Master mark for Jens Sigsgaard, and two pairs of grape scissors, one not marked, the other a German pair, stamped 800 and with the Crown and Crescent mark, maker Koch & Bergfeld. Description: A Portuguese goblet of slightly flared form with a lobed lower border, the main body engraved all over with flowers and scrolling foliage, with globular studs and central vacant cartouche to the front, all raised above a knopped stem and spreading circular foot with foliate border detail. Struck with the eagle mark for Lisbon, fineness .833, alongside a further struck mark and two further struck marks to the foot rim. Height measures 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm), weight 11.82 ozt (367.6 grams).

Condition Report: The goblet displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some of the decorated areas display darker tarnishing. Deeper scratches to some areas and various minor nicks. Slight loss of detail to decoration. Slight knock to foot rim. Slight crack in metal is visible at the join of the base of goblet to top of stem. Interior was probably once gilded, but this is now faded. The main Portuguese hallmark around the top is clear and legible, however the other struck marks are more difficult to read.
