Condition Report: Front of the cello with one crack which runs 2/3rds of the length underneath the strings and a couple of smaller one here and there, a repair crack to the side panel at the back around 1 inch in running from the top down for about 10 inches, there has been some repair work at the button at the top of the two piece back, many scuffs and scratches throughout particularly to the front and around the edges of the front, there is a 2.5 inch section at about 3 o'clock just above the scroll which has been replaced at the front and other chips and scuffs consistent with age and use. Condition Report: General tarnishing and some spotting to the gilt metal laurel band, it has also broken at the left hand side of the front leaf looking directly at it at the bust from the front and one leaf is missing here, there is a hairline crack running from the base of the bust, about 3 inches left from the centre of the bust and this extends up and over the shoulder and then fades out. Two tone colour to the bust which does have some slight scuffs and scratches around the lower area but nothing overly heavy apart from a 1 inch knock to the back of one shoulder and a 1.5 inch scratched area to he left hand side of the signature which is cleaner. The marble base has some small nicks and is lacking the name plate at the front. The gilt band on the top of the trim of the dress at the bust may not be original. Description: A Regency penwork tea caddy, decorated with figures and flowers, with two internal canisters, on ball toes, 6.75 x 9in.

Condition Report: The varnish to surface of tea caddy has an even patina of surface chips and scuffs throughout, some of these do encroach into the decoration which has worn in parts, varnish surface is not original but nor brand new and colour is ok. right side is probably scuffed a little heavier given paler lines visible on the surface. Caddy is repaired where both hinges meet at the back the hinges are probably not original and the wood banding to the inside of the caddy on the back section around hinges is replaced. An old repair to the right hand side of the lid, all four feet has been re-attached. Internal canister retain more of their original finish and are paler in colour, with general light age wear to surface, velvet lining has perished. A hairline crack along the upper part of this arm and a few small feint ones to forearm. Two feint hairline cracks to face, one at forehead, the other at the chin. Condition Report: As can be seen the figure is lacking the entire javelin, only a small 1 inch section remains in the left hand, the figure is also loose on its stand, the figures left foot has broken away from the screw thread in the onyx and there is some loss to the tip of that foot, there is a glue repaired break to the other ankle with one small loss there, the little finger is lacking to the left hand and there are 5 or 6 hairline cracks to the right arm and two large cracks to the head and a couple of other smaller cracks, the left arm has also been broken at the shoulder and poorly glue repaired and very messy at this point. A crack also to each of the legs. General rubbing and some light scratches to the patina throughout to the bronze. Attention will be needed - as found. Slight scuffs to surface and light rubbing but generally good. Signed at back, base with nominal wear. Overall good.
