Condition Report: Overall fair colour, some fading lower down case, split through arch to hood at 12 o' clock, short splits to bevelling around glazed door. Finials heavily oxidised, columns to either side of hood project outwards and not appear to be an appropriate fit. Brass work also oxidised. Dial looks untouched and with rubbing and wear to silvering and no later alterations noted. Movement with anchor escapement striming on bell. May have been cleaned in past 10years but not tested as running. Key to trunk door present, along with old winding key. Some minor niks/scuffs to extremities of case, overall fair order with timbers looking original. Condition Report: Height 7ft 4in. Overall case a good even mid brown colour and clean polished condition, two vertical splits in panel to box base, feet probably a little reduced, finials loose but present, loss of a top central finial possibly with shaped plate placed over front of the top of the hood although this does look to be old and is potentially contemporary to it, once had finials to the left and right sides of hood as well, movement complete, looks not to have been touched for 20 - 30 years but was running, seat board looks original, dial probably polished up some years ago now with subsequent tarnishing to the chapter ring and brass plate, comes with pendulum, two iron weights and winding and trunk keys, overall fair to good condition.
