The wallet has an open scrollwork and floral design, in the center there is a brass elk with a clock inside its antlers. There is minor discoloration, one of the corners is dented and the leather has a small hole underneath the snap. The wallet measures 4" long x 3 1/4" wide.

Description: serial #26473, 20 ga. 2 1/2", 26 7/8" barrels with bright excellent bores are choked cylinder and modified. This shotgun exhibits the lovely balance and lines that British doubles are known for but is a basic, no frills shotgun. The action which is beautifully proportioned shows just light border engraving along with the makers name "W.J. JEFFERY & CO. LTD" in riband either side. The barrels retain about 90 - 95% original blue finish overall with some scattered specks of light oxidation present. The frame retains about 80% original color case-hardened finish which is vivid in most areas and fading in the least protected areas. The bottom plate retains 90% original blue finish. The checkered straight grip buttstock and splinter forend are of nicely figured English walnut and rate near excellent with 90% original finish remaining and with strong checkering. The forend has no exterior latch and snaps into place and the shotgun has a 13 7/8" length of pull over is original checkered butt with drops of 1 3/8" and 1 1/2". The shotgun has a tiny bit of lateral movement when closed and the top lever is left of center when closed. This is a nice honest 20 bore British double gun that will be ready for your lady to take afield after it is tightened up. (16520-2397) {C&R}
