Description: Seltener Frühbarock-Kugelfußbecher Voll vergoldet. Zylindrischer Korpus über ausgestellten Kugelfüßen. Auf der Wandung drei von Akanthusblattkartuschen gerahmte, sehr fein und detailliert gravierte szenische Darstellungen von Reiterschlachten aus den Türkenkriegen. In den Zwischenräumen meisterhafte Stillleben aus unterschiedlichem Kriegsgerät. Innen vergoldet. Gest., Stadtmarken, Meister Johann Wagner (wird Meister um 1677), St. Petersburger Beschaumeister Nikifor Moschtschalkin (1772-1800). Gew. ca. 310 g. H. 12 cm. In der zweiten Hälfte des 17. Jh. waren vor allem gravierte Becher sehr gefragt, darunter die Arbeiten von Johann Wagner, "die durch ihre hohe Qualität auffallen." Ab den 30-iger Jahren des 18. Jhs. gehörte der Hof in St. Petersburg zu den größten Auftraggebern der Augsburger Silberschmiede. Neben der Bestellung von Tafelservicen wurden auch andere Silberwaren durch Händler nach Russland geliefert. Colima, 1897 - Ciudad de México, 1957) Hay efectivamente un aspecto escultórico en los cuadros de Michel del periodo de 1952 a 1955. Este constructivismo es particularmente sensible en las naturalezas muertas, cada vez más complejas a partir de 1952. Curiosas conformaciones de objetos, colocados casi siempre sobre una mesa, semejan mementos mori. Alfonso Michel utiliza la naturaleza muerta para ahondar aspectos estrictamente formales, elaborar construcciones espaciales en extremo sofisticadas. Algunos elementos recurrentes -un frutero en forma de copa, flores y frutas, una guitarra, un libro abierto…- son suficientes: en las naturalezas muertas Michel se propone transfigurar poéticamente una realidad visible, conformar una especie de mitología personal. "Hay mucho de obsesivo en cada una de estas formas - escribe Margarita Nelken - y no poco de pesadilla. O, para no desorbitar al concepto, de sueño y ensueño rumiado, macerado, hasta la obsesión.
