The green plate was, as well as the complementary red plate, printed in an edition of 50 numbered and signed copies.The lithograph is dated lower right mirror written in the stone '13.12.57'. The sheet is inscribed by another hand in pencil '() 304/5' in the lower margin. There are faint water stains in the corners and the upper margin, partly extending to the image. Additionally there is a crease in the left margin. The sheet is mounted to a backboard at the reverse upper sheet edge. The frame is in good condition with slight signs of wear. The image measures 50.8 x 64.7 cm, the sheet 56.2 x 76.2 cm. The framed dimensions are 65.5 x 85.5 cm.Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) The Spanish painter, graphic artist and sculptor Pablo Picasso created a body of work of about 50,000 paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures and ceramics.
