Eyes and teeth with painted features. Carved tailpiece in the form of a reclining dog. Length 27". Complete with original walnut case with inlaid stars and hearts. Probably one of the best folk instruments in this collection, and one of the finest to surface to the market. Provenance: The Morgan Rank Collection of Folk Art and Musical Instruments.
